What fees apply to payments sent by listeners?

Listener payment fees depend on whether the payment is made with Lightning or a bank card.

Lightning payments

Fountain takes a 2% fee for podcasts hosted on Fountain. If you are not hosting your podcast on Fountain but you've claimed the podcast to receive payment, Fountain takes a 5% fee.

Card payments

Fountain takes a 5% fee plus Stripe’s standard payment processing fees, which vary by country. You can learn more about Stripe's fees here.
