If Nate truly believes what he says, then one can guess where such anti-human thinking leads... These ‘green’ ideas will lead to multiple genocides before this century is over.

The importance of education around the understanding of BTC cannot be overstated. Although experience is a great teacher, one hopes we don’t have to fall victim to complete social and economic destruction before ‘both sides of the aisle’ grasp it.

Can Bitcoin Bridge the Political Divide? With Ted Cruz
interesting that the words of a republican politician are no different and hardly any more politically weighty than a reasonably well informed bitcoin pleb. It sounds like the democrats will get their way, and set back BTC open use. Bitcoiners will learn in an instant how to P2P to sidestep the monsters. Then the baton will change at next election and US will wake up years behind other nations who spotted the opportunity offered by US misunderstanding of Bitcoin.

Not much to disagree with here. I'm interested to find out what Jeff thinks about the potential of Bitcoin being cornered. All markets are prone to being cornered. Does Bitcoin have any checks or balances in this regard or is it also subject to this in the same way as other finite commodities?
