Marie is right! The time pressure piece is a big deal! I’ve gotta buy into it as the reader. Not just a minor detail you throw in later! I never realized it’s a trope for the heroes to cause the problem! I agree. Let the sky fall through a means beyond their control! But aren’t all Helios an evil Helios or are some more evil than others due to their circumstance? Great episode!

Great episode! loved reference to Magicfall with data center scene switching POVs in one chapter. great example of “on the table.” being so benign, but the description and actions leading up to it make it so juicy and menacing. LOVE how torturous Drake is for max pain. to be in the head of the guy proposing, who gets dumped. but Marie taking it up a notch of the girl who reluctantly says yes even tho she doesn’t want to go through with it!! 10/10 great episode!

Really enjoyed! love how this is you actually brainstorming the second book. what’s cool is I’ve only read the first 5 chapters so far of Magic Fall, but I’m able to follow along because you’ve done a great job setting up the story. it’s like as a reader I already know they’re going to win the Nadi Fall so that’s not a spoiler, or that Buri and Lyron will meet. I’ve learned those are just plot points, not necessarily the story! the feelings and change in the characters are why I’m hooked!
