Great interview! Fountain app has become my best avenue for discovering more podcasts I want to try out. On top of that, it has brought back the fun in USING Bitcoin in a practical way like back in the "old days." Bravo to the Fountain team!

For an ageing hippy duck farmer you have great intuition when it comes to ground breaking technology. Oscar is spot on about Dan Carlin too.

For music v4v, check out wavlake. i have listened to an interview on the tftc podcast with the creators. independent musicians can upload their music and get tipped. i havent played too much with it, but my initial experience was good. i will send them a email to see if they would fill out the guest form for the bitcoin breakout

nice to hear oscar in person. 😁 a thought i am carrying with me is an build-in equlizer. or at least a button to cut the basses or the high sounds. some podcasts are literally painfull to listen to. in traffic on bike you need a certain loudness and these bad audio quality podcasts just hurt the eardrum. .... go podcasting!

you can't mention everything in this episode, but i want to mention a really really cool feature, i am sure most people are not aware of. .... you van download the CLIPS as audio ... or... VIDEO WITH AUTOMATED SUBSCRIPTS. :O 😮 ... try it!!! you will freak out and you can start annoy your frends and sheeple on a whole ne level. :D

just as an overview / example. i am on fountain since nearly a half year. as uzza i already supported 28.196 sats (earned 21.468) - the excess sats came from comments likes and so on. with this account i earned 8590 sats. that's 30.058 personally "earned" sats. that's about 7 - 7,50 $!, wich my preferred podcasters got, without me doing nothing else, that i would do anyway....listen to content :D .... now imagine 1.000.000 people would do this. (i use it always in my promo-pitches) :)

Really enjoying the Fountain App. It's helping me learn how Lighting works and easily show support for shows I feel I receive valuable information from.

what? why i pay 4,19 € (4,50 $) and others just 3 bucks... that's racism maaan :D .... but tbh... i see zero difference in the supported account. ....there is written something about "improved clipping", but it is the same like in my non-supporter account on my other device. .. maybe i'm missing something. .... butbthe idea to convert some of the bucks is satoshis is nice too.

I switched from stitcher two years ago to use fountain...I see so much potential in it but even as is I see so much value in it that I don't see me going back
