Her career trajectory took an unexpected turn when she was laid off during an industry dip 📉, leading her to a transformative role in 2015 as the Program Director for a non-profit focused on supporting young girls with incarcerated mothers 👩‍👧. This six-year experience opened her eyes to the deep-seated issues within the justice system ⚖️ and left a lasting impact on her. Mindy’s return to the oil and gas industry has her balancing her professional life with academic goals 🎓, as she pursues a Masters in Legal Studies in Energy and Natural Resources Law at the University of Oklahoma.
